I couldn't get the link to work either, Sean. I've heard about this movie but I don't think it's something I would want to see. If anyone does see it I'd be interested to know what you thought of it.

Same feeling here...I don't want to see it either, I don't want to remember John's death... i already saw "the killing of john lennon". thats the movie that got me into the beatles and john lennon. i dont need to see another one lol Yeah, I haven't saw "The killing of John Lennon" either It was on paper view to rent but I wasn't in the mood to watch again another movie of how one of the two men I love the most in this world was murdered, it really get me very depressed sometimes and I think is quite sick. I know that we can't deny his death, sadly enough, but I wish that some day those directors and producers decided to make movies about his life, you know more documental like imagine, showing him in the studio or in his personal life, showing the great human he was instead of make so many movies about his death. Sometimes, I think people remember him most because of his death and not for whom he really was, that is very sad... I mean get over with it, yeah, he died and it was a great lost to the world in so many ways, but John Lennon did so many wonderful things in his life another than just die. John live inspired by love, peace and the beauty of the life itself. Why they keep exhaling his death instead to show us the example of his life? My story, I always loved The Beatles and their music since I was 8 years old. There was no human power on this earth that could move me away of the TV set when the Beatles cartoons where on. ;D I liked him and his music but, when I started to read more about him, his ideas and his life, admiration replace simple likeness. Then I read his poems and that’s was when I just fell in love with the guy. :)I’m sure that those here who have read different books about John's life can understand my feeling. "You're all geniuses, and you're all beautiful. You don't need anyone to tell you who you are. You are what you are. Get out there and get peace, think peace, and live peace and breathe peace, and you'll get it as soon as you like." John Lennon

I wish Hollywood would focus on his life not on his death too. They should do a documentary about his life not his death. Of course they would have to include his death in a documentary about his life but they shouldn't focus on his death all the time. I haven't seen and I won't see any movie that focuses on his death because it would be too sad for me to watch. I got into The Beatles when I was little and I got into John Lennon after the first time I saw Help.

I agree with Mrs. O' Boogie. Making a movie about John's death is pretty disgusting. I wasn't born until 12 years after his death. I remember being five years old and watching A Hard Day's Night with my parents on TV. I watched John play in the bath & I said "Ooh Mommy! I wanna marry him!" Later that day I asked if we could go to a Beatles concert sometime, only to find that the Beatles had broken up and the man I had planned on being engaged to had been killed 17 years previous. I'd hate to think that someone would actually want to make a movie that would bring back everyone's bad memories. I hope that someday they make a REAL actual movie about John's life and legacy (kind of like an I'm Not There sort of movie) and have it in theaters and everything. THAT I would go see.

I saw Chapter 27 on youtube last year and I don't recommend it for John Lennon fans. The end is very disturbing. The most disturbing party is when John is killed.

i've just saw it. and, god damn it, it turnes every feeling, every thought, everything around me into hate for him, the one called mark david chapman. and all those people in the end and everything.. it made me so so angry and so sad, and.. i don't know, i don't know what exactly i feel now, but that's bad. watching this film i realised again, that John wasn't just something from past, he's not fantasy, he's not a character - he is real. real as a person, real as a peace lover, as an artist, a beatle. his life was real and so his works are. always love John Lennon
