Just wonderin' ;D the statistics of how long ago have Beatles fans last listened to Ringo Beatle songs and Ringo Solo songs. That means. When was the last time you listened to a Ringo Beatle song? Like Octopus's Garden.. or Yellow Submarine. and.. When was the last time you listened to a Ringo Solo song? Like Back Off Boogaloo.. and Choose Love? I don't really remember the last times I did, so I can't say.

I don't listen to Ringo's solo music much at all, I'm ashamed to say. I do like some of his songs and would probably like more of them if I gave them a chance.
I listen to Ringo's Beatle songs every time I listen to a Beatle album. I don't usually skip any tracks.

I used to skip.. What Goes On in the Rubber Soul album, which was between Michelle and Girl. ;D Listening to those 2 songs, tho, put me to sleep. Which I loved. I wish I could get back the feeling where Beatles songs always sound new.

"What Goes On" is one of the few Beatles songs I don't really like too much. I don't know why. I sometimes skip it too when I'm listening to Rubber Soul.

I wish I could get back the feeling where Beatles songs always sound new. So do I. I remember how exciting it was hearing all those songs for the first time - and each one was my favourite until I heard the next one!

I think the fact Ringo was given the first song on Sgt Pepper( after the Sgt Pepper intro that is) must have been a big thing for him
As for Beatle songs still feeling new?
Well I have no problem with that.
When I here Paul say 1 2 3 4 at the beginning of I Saw Her Standing there and the song just rocks, to me it isnt dated at all and stands up to anything today.
And when I hear Shes So Heavy especially the ending, I think, as much as todays bands want to try, they just cant compare to the HEAVINESS that the Beatles were able to acomplish ( although after all these years Pearl Jam come close)

Not many other bands could write so many different styles of song and do them all equally well.

Do you know I inadvertantly ended up having a Ringo day yesterday, it wasn't intentional to start with, I was randomly scanning for something to play while I was posting some mails and ended up selecting Ringo the 4th. I followed it up with Stop and then yesterday evening while doing the dishes (I'm a good boy) I ended up with Ringo Rama on the Ipod. What a great day.

The last time I heard a Ringo Beatle song was this afternoon - Honey Don't. I can't remember the last time i heard a solo song but I'll be listening to his Photograph album when it gets delivered.

Yesterday I got a request from Ringo's Myspace, when I went along to check out the page Photograph was playing. Anyway, anyone who has myspace and is interesteed in adding Ringo here is the link. www.myspace.com/ringostarr It looks like it is an official myspace.

I had already added Ringo as a friend, but I hadn't visited his page for a while. Thanks.

The last time I heard a Ringo song was about two seconds ago. I'm listening to Beacoups of Blues as I'm typing and Woman of the Night has just finished playing.
